All firearms purchased on-line or out of state must be shipped and transferred through a local FFL holder in order to comply with State and Federal Law. This is where we come in. West Coast Survival Arms will handle all of the necessary paperwork with the seller to ensure your firearm gets shipped out quickly. We charge a $40 broker fee to facilitate the legal transfer of the firearm to you. Once we receive the firearm from the seller will notify you and you will need to come in and fill out the required paperwork (ATF form 4473 and CA DROS check).
West Coast Survival Arms will ship your firearm for you. If you purchase a firearm from us your dealer needs to send his FFL to us. Your dealer needs to email their FFL to FFL@westcoastsurvivalarms.com.
We accept shipments from both FFL's and non-licensees. We do not provide a copy of our FFL to non-licensees as they can verify our license (9-33-04195) using the ATF's FFL EzCheck; https://www.atfonline.gov/fflezcheck/. We do require non-licensees include a copy of their driver's license in order to accurately record the firearm per ATF regulations. If a non-licensee does not include a clear copy of their driver's license the firearm will not be transferred until a clear, current copy is received.
If there is a question about anything ASK!!! Any illegal assault weapon will not be transferred and turned over to Chula Vista Police Department. California Assault Weapon Laws differ from federal laws. Weapons legal in most states may be illegal in California. Cal Guns has a very good rifle and shotgun flow chart to determine the legality of a firearm.
